As the HBCU college football season rolls on, the city of Birmingham, AL will be presenting the 71st Annual Magic City Classic where the Alabama State University Hornets will face off against in-state rival the Alabama A&M University Bulldogs at Legion Field on Saturday, October 27, 2012. Both football teams will be representing the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

The Classic Weekend will also include a pep rally, a parade, a pre-game tailgating party, the Battle Of the Bands halftime show, a post game concert, and so much more!
