The Peoria Chiefs announced a press conference for this afternoon at 1pm at Peoria Chiefs Stadium. The public is invited to the lunchtime event and are encouraged to wear red as the Chiefs will announce thier new MLB affiliation with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Hot dog, chips, and soda will be provided to all fans who show up to this free of charge event. Also for all of the fans who will show up for today's gathering, will receive a voucher for a free ticket to the Chiefs 2013 regular season opener on April 4th against the Wisconsin TimberRattlers.
The press conference will be held outside (weather permitting) and will begin at 1pm. Parking will be available on the streets surrounding Peoria Chiefs Stadium on a first come, first serve basis.
The gates of the ballpark will open at 12:30pm for fans who are interested in attending this event.
