 Life

Life

God has given each one of us the opportunity to have eternal life with Him through His son Jesus Christ.

In order to gain eternal life and become a Christian, a person must first realize he or she is “lost”, totally estranged from God, separated from God by a sinful nature. In the Bible in the New Testament Book of Romans, the Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

A person alone cannot reconcile the lost relationship between himself or herself and God. To provide a remedy, God sent His only Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life God demands. Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord."

Jesus lived his life on earth and died on the cross. Although humanity through sin was separated from God, the sacrifice of Jesus bridged the gap between God and man. Romans 5:8 says “But God showed His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

All that God asks is that a man or woman repent of his or her sins, turn from them and accept the sacrifice Christ made on the cross for those sins. Romans 10:9 says, "If you shall confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you shall be saved.”

The beautiful promise of God that anyone who accepts Christ as Savior shall be saved is found in Romans 10:13. “For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

It really is so simple to have eternal life and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will be spending eternity in Heaven.

God loves you so much, and He wants everyone to be saved and spend eternity with Him.

If you have come to the decision that you want eternal life with God, then all you must do is repent and ask God to forgive you of your sins, turn from your old ways, and ask Jesus to come into your heart and transform your life. That’s it, you’re in!

Isn’t it awesome to know that you have a new life in Christ?! Now, ask God to help you find a Bible believing church in your community that you can attend. There will be people there that can help answer any questions you might have and it will be a place where you can grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Take care and God bless you!
