“Aledo, IL, The City Of Pride & Progress, Presents The Aledo Rhubarb Festival!”

Come enjoy Aledo’s 28th Annual Rhubarb Festival on June 7th & June 8th! Featuring 3,000 plus homemade Rhubarb Pies for sale, sample many delicious Rhubarb Desserts at the Tasting Tent, great music, crafts, free Rhubarb Seeds and a special recipe contest.

Entertainment on the Band Shell Stage is scheduled each day with many talented musical guest. On Saturday, the Mercer County Family YMCA will hold their annual 5K Rhubarb Run/Walk.

Trolley tours are also available to see all that Aledo has to offer. Many of our local service organizations are all in Rhubarb and are providing great luncheons as well.

Stop in all the participating downtown businesses to sample Rhubarb treats and sign-up for drawings.

Just a reminder that if you will be in town on that day, a shuttle bus is available Saturday only from 9am to 4pm at the east-end of town. Drive to First Baptist Church at 800 NE 6th Avenue, Aledo, IL, and a bus will pick you up and drop you off at Central Park. Handicap parking available on the 100 block of S. College Avenue. First Aid tent available. Also, golf cart shuttles are from 9am to 4pm each day. Please no dogs allowed with the exception of service animals.

They also want to let you know that if you’re coming to the Fest to sample the Rhubarb or to buy a Rhubarb Pie, please plan on coming before noon for the best selection!
