Newsline: Kroger Grocery Stores in Peoria, IL & Streator, IL

In case you missed or didn’t hear about it, local Kroger stores will be rolling back their hours.

According to WEEK-TV, two area Central Illinois Kroger stores, are shortening their hours of business.

A Kroger spokesman said the store at 801 W. Lake Avenue in Peoria, will be open from 6 am to midnight starting in mid-September. The store at 2399 North Bloomington Street in Streator, will adopt the same hours starting this weekend.

Both stores are currently open 24 hours. The spokesman said the schedule adjustments reflect changes in customer shopping patterns.
