The University of Illinois’ first Hall of Fame Class, will be inducted on Saturday, September 30th.
The school says the Class of 2017 will be inducted during a ceremony at the State Farm Center in Champaign, IL. The ceremony will begin at 2pm.
Thirteen of the 28 inductees are expected to attend, including football great Dick Butkus and Illini basketball stars Dee Brown and Nick Anderson.
Family members of a dozen more of the Hall of Famers are also expected to be there.
The ceremony is free of charge but fans are encouraged to order complimentary tickets in advance.
